Anyone remember this rifle from the 1980s? I was but a wee pup then so of course I don't ever remember them. Worth a damn? Crap?

I was skimming through a 1986 Gun Digest and it had the side folder variant. Said MSRP back in '86 was about $350.00.

saw one a few years ago at a show... Had some sort of collapsible or folding stock... The guy only wanted like $600 for it...

I remember one from the 80s, it was a copy of the Australian Leader. I've not seen one in a long time.

The one I remember worked but broke, and I don't think that it took standard AR parts, except for mags.

IIRC, it didn't have an external bolt release.

There's one near me, they're asking something like 700 for one. They don't appeal to me at all personally...
