I purchased both of these M4 barrels from Bushmaster at the same time.  Can anyone tell me why the bottom barrel finish looks like it has sparkles.  Is there something wrong with the finish they put on?  Is it just cosmetic?  Thanks in advance.

Was it kept at a strip club??  I haven't seen anything like that before....

It's normal.

Sometimes parkerizing just turns out sparkly like that. I don't know why. It will get duller with use.

I had a NIB Valmet that came like that.

Put some grease on iot and it will dull up some.
