I hang around the ar15 part of the forum, so im sorta new to the 10/22 game.  My question is on aftermarket barrels, how is the butler creek fluted target???  Is it worth it, will it actually be 1/2'' moa at 50 yds like it says, or should i just go buy a VQ??? Thanks.

I have the blued steel plain barrel version and have been getting consistent groupings with it for a few years. I've seen mixed reviews with the carbon fiber version- mostly bad, but no personal experience with it though.

I don't think you are talking about BC carbon fiber barrels, but if you are DON'T do it. I had one that shot 4" groups at 20 yards. I have no experience with Butler Creek steel barrels. I recommend Green Mt.

I bought their 20" barrel and stock combo and it's a good buy. It hit every pop can and what not.

i have a what use to be 20" bc ss fluted bbl. that out shoot a lot of other bbl's and keep up with most others.

dime size groups consistantly.

if i were to do it again though i would go with tactical solutions bbl due to me running suppressed now.
