Has anyone tried to use the Butler Creek loader on BC steel lipped magazines? Every ad I have read says it is for BC hot lipped magazines ONLY. Anyone ever experiment?
Also, are these loaders worth the money? Any thoughts?

Yes it works with the steel lips. Yes they are worth the money, they arn't perfect, but they do save your thumbs.

I don't think they're worth it but some people like them.

I could not live without it! It works great with both kinds of BC mags but no others.

I use mine for BC Hotlips and 30rnd Eagles with no problems.

I like mine. 10/22 mags are the only mags I hate loading. Mine works on Ramline double stack magazines and Butler creek steel lips. I don't have any hot lips mags to try it on. It works pretty well once you figure the process out.
