CMP 30.06 ammo ordered back in October finally showed up. Five months and I should have enough to feed my Garande for a while! They are cracking them out

NO, the local guys who buy 10K rounds at a time and sell it all at the next gun show suck. I'm building an ammo fort in my basement so my BAR has food in the future. |

The price increase will slow down some of the ammunition orders that were inundating the CMP. However, even with a fifteen-dollar increase in the 192 round cans and a nineteen-dollar increase in the 240 round cans the CMP is still the best place around for M2 30-06 ball. The new limit of 25 cans per year will have more effect on the people buying ten thousand rounds at a time for resale. (Until they figure a way around it, that is.) Luckily for those with pending orders, they are going to honor all orders placed before March 24, 09.

| I don't mind the price increase. Maybe it will slow the turds buying all the ammo in bulk and turning right around and selling it online at a huge mark up. The money that I spend at CMP also goes to a great organization that does alot. Not just hordes that money but turns it around for shoots, education, child involvement and education, history, etc. |

They will do the same thing they have done with the rifle limits, sign up their relatives and friends. The limits will stop some, but not that many. |
| I've purchased 12,000 rounds since Nov. I'm glad I got it when I did. I purchased a FA 1919A4 in Sept and wanted to make sure I had enough ammo to feed it for at least 2 years. When I drove to the norht store in Jan to get 8,000 rounds they said it had been flying off the selves. |
