[ARCHIVED THREAD] - CMP clip issues

A couple of interesting discussions over at CMP Forum that may be of interest to M1 Garand shooters. Anyone experience this first hand? I know some of my bandoleers [CMP Greek HXP HS 1970, can't read what kind of clip it is] are left hand loaded, if that has anything to do with it.

Observations about Clips that came with Greek Ammo

I noticed that the Lake City rounds wouldn't load into the JMO clips properly. It's hard to describe, but they didn't "settle in." I had some GI clips and the Lake City rounds went in just fine.

My first case and clip questions

That leads to my question, what is the final concencus on the JMO clips? Are the pre-1973 JMO clips all bad, as can't be used with commercial manufacture .06? Are there other clips that you guys have had trouble with? Just curious and I appreciate your insight on this.
