figures there would a lot of overlap , How long does it take for the admin at cmp forums to activate a new account for posting?

Been so long since I signed up I do not remember. If you signed up over the last few days they may still be out for the holidays.

I signed up at the beginning of the month and was good to go within an hour. But now you are in the holidays so it might take a bit.
