I was thinking of either Tyr or First Spear pouches since they have Ranger Green (matches all my other gear) and I like their gear. They have MP5, MP7 and UMP pouches. I imagine one of those works better than the others. I'm surprised the MP7 pouches work considering how small their bullets are.

I want to buy one of these. Preferably one of the 2016 models in FDE. Where would you recommend me going? Can i get on a backorder list somewhere? How long could i expect an fde model to be available?
per CZ facebook The new CZ Scorpion pistol has been our single most popular new product in recent years. Unfortunately, we have sold our entire 2015 production allocation.
Based on user input, we are incorporating a number of small changes to the 2016 version. Most important to customers will be: • ½ x 28 threaded muzzle hidden under the factory 18 x 1 flash hider • QD sling socket integrated into the rear endcap Also, in addition to the black version, the 2016 Scorpion EVO 3 S1 Pistol will also be available in an FDE (Flat Dark Earth) variant. Scorpion stocks and 922(r) parts are rolling in and are currently shipping as fast as we can assemble the packages. Thanks to all our customers for making the CZ Scorpion one of the favorite new products in the firearms industry. View Quote |

CZ USA's Facebook post for the Scorpion at Shot Show 2016 said it will likely be 7 months before they see them available. Originally they said May, now July/August... I wouldn't hold my breath for any time soon. I hope I am proven wrong, as I have been waiting since October for a Evo III (canceled my Gen 1 order, got put on wait list for Gen 2). CZ makes awesome stuff, but the availability issues are becoming a big problem as their demand grows.

It makes no sense to spend $50,000+ on booth space at SHOT 2016 and over $100,000+ on manufacturing a new model of gun and not show your hot, new product that is coming out in the 2016 year. A lot of people misunderstand the point of SHOT show. SHOT is a trade show for manufacturers to line up distributor sales and distributors to get in orders on the hot new products before the go into production. CZ shows off their new carbine model (just like all the other companies show off their new products) so they can get orders in on it form distributors and can plan their production volume accordingly, and also the gauge if they hit the mark on their production estimates, have a real winner and need to dedicate more resources to manufacturing, or it turns out to be a dog that no one wants and they scale back/cancel production. The fact that the public sees some of the new stuff through media that goes to the show is a side benefit, and not the main purpose of the show. |

I had to use 100lbs or more of torque to get it off even after all that. I am not going to use any thread lock for now, people are saying it works fine without. |

But I did put a couple dabs of some high temp stuff. That nut doesn't even really do much. keeps the hand guard secure, not like it holds the barrel or anything. It's crazy the amount of loctite they use. |

Listening to antigun folks talk about guns is like watching a room full of retards argue over which color crayon tastes the best.

Is the 16" elite case smaller than the Cz plastic case? I'm looking for the most smallest case between the 2.
