Anyone know anything about this rimfire rifle?

I know I don't want one.

It's the replacement for the CZ 452. It's supposed to be an "improvement". I believe the improvement was only intended to make them easier and cheaper to produce.

They are not catching on with the purist and is the main reason I picked up 2 452's.

The verdict is out right now.

Thanks. I just found out that they are discontinuing the 452 and since I have been wanting one for a few years, I ordered my first 22LR and CZ today - CZ 452 Training. It was between that and the LUX but I use my guns so why pay for walnut when it will get all dinged up out in the field.

That is true but that lux is really nice. I've been thinking of getting one.

Because dinged up - but cared for - walnut has style. Particularly with the varnish replaced with a nice handrubbed oil finish.

Maybe, but I still don't think it was worth an extra $50 just so my gun could have 'style' in someone else's eyes. A dead squirrel doesn't know the difference.
