A customer of mine does anodizing and said that he can do camo.  I didn't think it was possable so he brought me in a digital camo mag.  He also said that he has many different camo options that they can do.  I was amazed that that can be done.  Here are some cell phone pics

Since anodizing is a process for dying, simple camo patterns should work pretty well.

I have seen some pistol frames that looked sort of tie dyed.  Reminded me of the 60s.

I never tried it, since painting is easier for me.

Probably could use the process to come up with some attractive work.
