| .22 can which brand? I am getting headache after trying to pick one. Help! |
|
SWR Spectre, Liberty Kodiac, Silenerco Sparrow. Those in my mind are the top 3, and I have 5 22LR cans and have been doing research for about 2.5 years now. I can say those brands with confidence - because I had 4 22LR cans already and bought a spectre. The other 2 will be mine soon.
They are all rated for multiple calibers, easy to clean and solid units. Heck, liberty warranties their suppressor on a full auto complete American 180 mag dump (just not the finish ) The spectre has been fired on an AR-15, and is rated for 5.7 pistol and rifle shooting. The silencerco sparrow is the easiest to clean, and can go much longer between cleanings without worries of a clogged can preventing maintenance.
Hope this helps =) Edit: There are a lot of really great cans I didn't mention, but it depends on your uses. First you need to ask yourself - what is most important? Is it for multiple calibers? Do you want mono-core, or individual baffles. Do you want the ability to take it apart to clean. Do you have a price ceiling? Do you need it to be capable of handling full automatic fire. Is size an issue. Do you want thread on or quick attach? I would say answer these questions and people responding can do a better job of suggesting a suppressor manufacturer/model. |
