I have recently sent off my application for a C&R license and was wondering what kind of timeline i'm looking at to receive the license.  Any insight the hive can provide would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark

3 months is fairly typical.  Any faster and you're lucky.

My C&R license took 21 days when I originally got it about four years ago. My renewal took less time. I'm currently applying for a dealer's license. I'm figuring 90 days minimum.

If I remember right, I think mine took about a month door-to-door.

2 days for the ATF to charge my credit card. We'll see how long the rest takes....

Got my C&R in the mail today......41 days from the day I dropped it in the mail till I received it back....not too bad.

Mine took 60 days, I had to send additional information.  (List of past FFLs I held and peeps I worked for that had FFLs)  They had returned the application to me asking for this info, I mailed it back to them and had my license within a week.
