Okay, I tried to search, but didn't see anything. My experience with C&R is limited to my CMP Garand.

Anyway, I'm looking to purchase a Mosin Nagant, and am wondering. If I order it from a dealer like Classic Arms, does it need to be shipped to my dealer, or can it be shipped right to my house?

They will only ship to the address on YOUR C&R (if you have one.). Otherwise it has to go through a FFL.

Get a C&R and don't look back....

Your question is really confusing. Do you have a C&R license? If so, I suggest you read the materials the BATF sent you. Otherwise, log on to their web site and bone up on the legalities of your license. You have an obligation to understand the laws that relate to your license.

If you don't yet have a license, then you're excused for not knowing . . . but you still can't buy through Classic Arms or any other dealer without going through an FFL

But, if you do have a C&R license, you can place an order with AIM or Classic Arms or any other FFL and as long as the gun qualifies as a C&R, it can be shipped directly to the address on your license. No need to do a transfer through a type 1 FFL.

Ok, I don't have a C&R license...yet! Sounds like I really need to go ahead and get one!

You should also be aware that Brownell's, MidwayUSA, Graf & Sons and Numrich/Gun Parts Inc. offers discounts to C&R holders.
