So I have this crazy idea that if I ever hit the lottery, I want to have a bladesmith make me up a M4 bayonet for the carbine in "feather pattern" Damascus steel. But I would still want it actually functional to be able to fit on a carbine. So the easiest way to do that would be to use a GI guard and pommel assembly, and just have the blade and handle built from scratch. Are these parts available NOS anywhere, or are demilled bayonets a thing that I could rob parts from? Any sources? Also looking for a source of demilled carbine receivers for a project. (I would prefer that they not have been demilled in the first place - Captain Crunch was a crime against weaponry - but since they were, I've got some stuff in mind.) SARCO used to list them but just as I got ready to buy some, they ran out and don't appear to have gotten any back in stock. Anyone know of any other sources? |
There's a prize at the bottom of every box of .22LR. It's called happiness. Keep shooting!

Not all of it is present though. Also have a reweld but that’s technically a firearm because it does work. |
