| I was sorting through some brass to resize when I noticed some marks on the neck. They are shallow grooves on the neck of the case close to the mouth. They appear only on WCC brass, which has only been once-fired. The grooves are really shallow and are not visible on the inside of the case neck, any idea what they could be? |

Yep, 223 brass fired in an AR. I don't have photobucket, but I'll grab a camera right quick... As said above it's from the barrel extension, the ejector shoves the case to one side as it's being extracted and the neck of the case scrapes across the locking lugs causing the two small nicks. EWP |
