Granted you have to pay a tax on it but Meh... I'd still happily swap the barrel on the thing if I have to Barrel and Locking piece... and a can. |

A chrome lined 91 would be a nice addition to the market, particularly if it’s CHF. I have no idea if they would be or not. |

My personal preference is always going to be chromed, with a toss up between nitride and stainless next depending on what I’m doing, with basic unlined/unfinished chasing the tail of the pack. |

I’m looking forward to a 53 or 33k type. I’ve got the MKE AP5 and enjoy it quite a lot. I’d love to have the 5.56 roller lock to go with it. The 53 looks like 1in12” twist on the placeholder pages I’ve seen. @ ATLANTIC-FIREARMS Can you guys confirm twist rate? |

I think the ATF would consider going to the single pin and shelf style of the legacy HK guns and the current domestic clones as a design change and require re-approval for import under a new model name. All the HK-type guns are being imported with that front pin now. I’m not sure if POF (imported around 2014?) or MKE did it first, though the MKE guns imported by ATI were single pin/shelf but under Zenith (around 2015 is the earliest reference I can find) they were front pin. I suspect it’s to prevent the auto carriers from being imported since the blocking bar in the receiver prevents their usage. So likely ATF “too easily converted to machinery guns!!” nonsense and my guess is they’ll stick with requiring the blocking bar. There are far too many of the legacy semi designs out there for the ATF to un-approve that as an acceptable semi automatic firearm but they can be annoying about importing them going forward. |
