I'm debating on wether or not to buy a Cetme. I really want an HK91 clone and thought this would be a good option. However i'm wondering a few things. How are Cetmes? Quality, reliability? Also, will they accept g3 parts (stocks, forearms, magazines, etc)? Thanks, Mark |

as for parts 70% of them(stocks external parts mods work,, triggers and parts bolts and parts do not)mags willwork,,mine takes both so i lucked out! visit cetmerifles.com and gunbaords cetme forum for all you need to know about the cetme.. and they aint a 91 clone,, its the other way around! as for how they are built,, some will work lik ethey should other do not. read up on how the rifle works, do some home work on it. Then go find one,DO NOT order one, hadnle it 1st or make sure the FFL knows that if it aint to spec your handing back over to send it back! ive had obe for over 4 years now and a few 1000 thru it. imine owrks, but ive also taken the time to fix what century fucked up. sides that,, you get a good one you'll love it,, and youll be happy you got a 762 MBR for under 500$ |
| When you go to look at one take the mag and insert it. If the bolt does not ride the mag follower just a littleas it closes it is out of spec. Do not buy the rifle if the bolt will not touch the mag follower. also make dam shure the chamber has no pitting. otherwise you will always have to fire steel cased ammo. look at the sights.. if the rear is obviously offset. do not buy it. Pay the extra $25 for the reputable dealer.. just incase... |
no flame man,, but the mag could be bent, or he is useing the wrong kinda mags! Mags are not a 100% way to check that the rifle is In spec.! all it is a test of it mag fit. if the mag in in perfect order! most folks have guns that run cetme mags only,,,others G3 only.... |
