Anyone have or shot a Chaippa M4-22?  Local shop has an upper for sale, trying to find out if it is worth looking at.

I got mine for $250... I'd say it's worth that, not too much more. There's as much plastic as they could get away with (receiver, etc), and the "flash hider" is held on with a set screw.

It's no Spike's or CMMG upper, but mine goes bang when I pull the trigger so I can't complain too much

I have a Chiappa upper that I run on my DPMS lower. I have approx.
2-3000 rounds thru it without any problems. It holds a good group at 25
yards (for a trainer) and the groups stay the same whether I fire slow
or do a mag dump. I did an informal test with 4 magazines to see if the
groups would open up or shift with a hot barrel due to the polymer
upper. I did a mag dump with all 4 magazines as fast as I could and the
group staid the same and didn't shift. Also the barrel staid tight to
the receiver. From what I could gather, the Chiappa is a copy of the
Tactical Solutions upper.

There are a few threads in the AR15 Rimfire/pistol section.
