Looking for chamber flags for my rather large gun collection. Looking for in-expensive, or, better yet, someone's idea for a homemade version. I really like using them and maybe that's the reason I keep losing them!

thanks...

The local DNR range here uses an orange zip tie cinched tight around an orange nylon ribbon about an inch in length.

I use wine corks painted orange or red or any other color I have around with zip ties stuck through them.

Buy some orange Zip-Ties. You should be able to buy a package of 100 for ~$3. That is what I use.

Lots of good ideas here.  The staw one sounds like a winner to me.

This is what I use, too.  The thick, bright-orange stuff costs a couple bucks at home depot and will make dozens of flags.  For handguns I like to cut it long enough to go through the entire barrel so both ends can be seen.
