Quoted: I bought a new STG 556 in Dec last year finally got around to shooting it and find it is putting a bulge my brass up near the base. Shooting factory Fed AE. Less than 200round thru this gun. I measured it and the chamber with calipers and come out to .380. When I drop a factory unfired cartridge in the chamber it is very sloppy. have 5+ other 223/556 rifles and none of the chambers are like this. Anyone else have this issue? I would stop shooting this rifle immediately before you have a case failure while firing. I don't know what would happen but I wouldn't want to be the one to find out. Especially since the chamber is next to your face. I would call MSAR in the early AM to actually get a hold of someone. You can go to their web page and do up in RA for your rifle and state why you're sending it in. They've been pretty good WRT fixing rifles....even if their comms on their industry page suck. |

Call MSAR and send the rifle in for inspection.
