Change Material After Form 1 was Submitted

Is it possible to change the material you plan to make a suppressor out of once the Form 1 has been submitted? I submitted one a couple of weeks ago and now I'm second guessing the metal I specified on the form. Is it possible to change after the form gets approved? Or should I cancel it and submit another? Does the ATF care if it's aluminum or Ti?

They wouldn't know or really care. They ask about the materials you're using mainly to filter out people using kits or partially completed parts.

As already stated, they couldn't care less about what materials you use.

You would need to amend or cancel and refile the Form 1 if you decide to change dimensions or caliber, though.
