I have the Eagle version and mine holds 4 AR mags (one per pouch) I was told the Blackhawk holds 2 per pouch for a total of 8 but I don;t know if that is true. |
They'll hold 2/pouch but it's a tight fit. When I was using one I would only put 1 mag per pouch and it worked fine. |

The BH one shown holds eight. I have it and I dont really like it that much. The shoulder straps would be better with padding and the strap that goes across your back is pretty thin. I have mine almost maxed out on adjustment (small not fat) and the excess which has little follwers to keep it form hanging loose don't really work so I electrical taped mine. YMMV |
