Chrome bores are GOOD!

As mentioned above, Argentine, Imbel, and some other FALs had chromed bores. In addition to the no-rust part, they also last about twice as long and don't heat up as rapidly due to the lower friction.

At least some Israeli FAL barrels were chrome lined.

Some have chrome lined chambers. For the most part they are not chrome lined.
