I'm looking into a 12 volt trap/skeet thrower.
I've seen good reviews on the Do-All brand and am looking at the White Wing Red Pigeon Aerial Assault 3 Any body have experience with these or another brand. Looking to keep it around $300. |
If the Do-All looks like this one save your money.
I tried to use one a few years ago. It would barely throw 50 yards. Tighten up the spring too much (for more speed/distance) and it did not have enough torque to re-cock. After a few hundred throws the motor and/or switch went out. The company was quick to send me a new motor and wiring harness. A few more cycles and some small ratchet bearing came apart and it would not cock. I pitched the whole $@#& thing in the next pile of scrap metal I hauled off for $.48 / lb. and was glad to get it. Check for reviews of any machine you are thinking about. Any decent and usable electric machine is gonna run more than $300 |
