Just dropped in the mail box my 1st ever order to CMP for my 1st HRA Service grade
Garand, sure hope I'm not disapointed. |

Got a low number WWII rifle with mostly WWII era parts...some even correct for the receiver. The barrel was a SA 65 replacement and the stock is SA, but not original of course. Finish is a worn grey/green. Have not gotten to the range to see how it does yet...so the jury is out on this rifle. The other SA is a very late 5.8M with mostly correct parts except the very early WWII bolt. Finish is near new black park., but could be a refinish. That rifle is for my son and we also need to get that one to the range to test I think you will be happy with what you get bearing in mind the grading system CMP uses. I would like a SG HRA later in the year if they are still available. dvo |
