My trust has my dad and brother as Co-Trustee. Are they able to use the trust to purchase their own NFA items to add to the trust as Co-trustees? or are they just limited to only "borrow" the items that i have purchased?

You were the grantor to initiate the trust, but once it's created you're all equal as trustees. Any trustee can add items to the trust.
