I have a brand new Colt 30 round mag that I have attempted to use once...and it jammed about every other round.

Upon inspection, the top rear weld (or press fit, whatever it may be) on the "spine" of the mag doesn't hold, and the mag easily flexes in an out at that point.

Is there a good way to fix this?  Or am I better off just trashing the mag?

If you know someone with a spot welder it's an easy fix. I suppose it could be brazed, but since it is new, can it be returned to the seller??
