My question is my lever catch is loose was wondering if I could glue it in place so It will not fall out.
What type of glue could I use on metal.

Thank's

Glue?

Where is your loading lever latch pin?  The latch is supposed to move back and forth.

It's the catch under the barrel slides. It holds the loading lever in place

Sounds like the loading lever latch spring is weak. Pop out the pin and put a stronger spring in there or file the indent a little deeper on the barrel catch.

Good idea right here.

I don't think anyone is picking up on the piece you mean.  You are talking about the little block of metal dovetailed into the bottom of the barrel near the muzzle?

If that's the case, you need a non-marring punch (brass) and a non-marring work surface.  "Open" the loading lever and bend the dovetail tab under the lever into the loading lever catch using the brass punch.  The idea is to just bend the tab, not flatten the barrel so it shouldn't take too much force.

I agree with most of Green Canoe's post, but recommend a steel, "marring" punch if the brass one doesn't tighten the dovetail.
