| Is there a reliable source of information for filling out Form 2s as an SOT? I plan to Form 2 a couple bolts and trigger packs, but I am not sure how to show some of the information. My ATF contact has given me some conflicting information. |

My ATF contact has given me some conflicting information. Shoot me a PM, or ask here. What are you needing to know? I usually put "machinegun" for type, N/A for barrel and OAL. Then describe the part in the description part. Ex. "M1919 bolt machined to fit semi auto receiver" |

I am using Eforms. It does not accept a 0 or N/A for barrel length and overall length). As of today, it does not show me as verified manufacturer. Calling ATF this morning. Yeah eForms won't let you exclude the barrel length and OAL, and IIRC it assumes you're converting another manufacturer's firearm if you're a small-time FFL/SOT. You'll be better off using a paper F2 paper for these. |
