I have read a thread on here with pics of people storing their brass and bullets in plastic stackable containers, however cannot find it now.  What I am wondering is do the containers need to be air-tight?  I notice my polished brass gets tarnished and sometimes even a little corroded when left in open container.  Any recommendations would be welcome, brand name of storage containers and any pics also very welcome.

Thanks

Try Lock & Lock storage containers, I use the 24 cup size for prepped brass storage.  A 24 cup container hold 1000 pieces of 5.56 nicely and is

airtight.  They are a bit pricey but high quality.  They stack well too.

Mine are not air tight, the brass will redden a bit but that is all, all my stuff stays in the house where I keep the humidity less than 50% so YMMV.
