Whats does a Diamondback Tactical Predator vest cost with the sewn in armor?

I am having trouble finding dealers online who sell it. Do I have to call DBT directly to order or get a price quote?

Yeah, just call them directly.  Hopefully you're MIL/LEO, they don't sell to us regular folk.

Well thats a bummer. I guess it makes sense what with the trouble I have had finding one online.

I am not MIL/LEO so I guess I will have to find another option.

If you're okay with secondhand, keep an eye on the EE and eBay.

the old DBT stuff is much better than since they were bought out by 1st choice armor.  ebay has a ton of their gear for sale (the old stuff)

If you can handle "old-new" stock and not having the inserts sewed in, then check out ebay store redcattactical.  Pricess range from $64 for an ACU praetorian to $160 for a multicam predator 2 (all take spear/balcs inserts).  I ordered two vests from them and the service was great.  Again, inserts aren't included but you can find IIIa spear/balcs cut at a decent price if you keep your eyes open.

Here's a breakout of what it cost to outfit my wife and me (not a fan of ACU at all but the price was hard to beat!):

Small ACU Praetorian $64 + $7 shipping
Small Ceradyne IIIa inserts  $188 + $15 shipping
                        $274 total

Med ACU Praetorian   $64 + $7 shipping
Med Ceradyne IIIa inserts   $266 + $15 shipping
                        $352 total

I haven't had a chance to put it through it's paces but so far, it looks as well built as my eagle spc.  Oh yeah, redcattactical even threw in some IIIa cummerbund inserts for free (that I'll use in the eagle) and some IIIa shoulder pads/armor - great seller!
