Unfortuantely all I have are teaser pictures, but I should have the form 3 back soon enough so I can go out and shoot it..probably a month with turn around times now adays...

Looks big!

I traded my 20inch barrel for another AI 24in barrel, which is getting contoured for the OPS 3rd model...

should make for a fun blaster.

very good question..I should put quotes around covert..

its not a true covert setup obviously, yet a SoundTech 22inch can built to thread and lock back on a 16inch AWS barrel....

What's the O.D. of the suppressor?

Do not have it infront of me to measure, but it is quoted to be 1.38in

We're looking at some sort of reflex/covert design.  But a non-ported 16" barrel really constrains the design and one questions if the long "covert" can is even worthwhile.  I believe the original Covert had a 12" bbl.

Zak,

With the advanced baffle designs available on the market today, the current normal muzzle mounting suppressors are very competetive or sometimes even better than a long integral type suppressor, especially if the integral suppressor has simpler design.

This is both with sub and super sonic ammunition.

Plus points for the normal suppressors are lighter weight, size and ease of maintenance of example.

For a short 16-20 inch barreled rifle, I would really recommend an effective muzzle suppressor to keep the overall package handy.

I believe you are correct, reason for 16inch barrel here is to nullify the need for  tax stamp......

Yeah... five AI stocks in the gun cabinet.

That's a pretty spendy collection.

Neat gun.  I'd be tempted to do a muzzle can too, to keep barrel length to a maximum within the cased size threshold for the project.

But I'm sure that will be quiet with a can of that length.
