So I've been curious about custom paint jobs for a while. I have a hi-point 995 that I picked up for cheap and decided to make it my trial run. It took me most of yesterday and this morning but I finally have it finished and reassembled. It's not the most practical paint job in the world but its different. I used the Krylon paint- does anyone have any experience as to how long this paint holds up with firing and cleaning solvents? You'll have to copy and paste the link below.

| I've used ordinary spray paint on M16's and DMR's, gov't weapons get banged around more than personals but the paint generally holds up, eventually it gets a 'chipped/worn' look to it, there is a flat clear coat that some guys use as a protectant that seems to keep the paint on the weapon a little longer. |
