| OK this may be simple and I just don't know how to do it, but I want to put a single point sling on my 870 and use a Daniel Defense burnsed loop. How do I get the stock off to install it and is that all there is to it? |

I installed a DD burnsed loop on my 870 not long ago. There isn't much to it. Take the recoil pad off (probably a couple of small philips screws) then unscrew the stock (you probably need a large and long flathead screwdriver for this). There will be a small retainer plate that will come out and be replaced by the DD loop. Put the stock back on and you are good to go. |
