Is there a thread with pictures of DIY painted Ar's? I'd like to get a few ideas as to colors and styles.
Thanks

Thanks for the pics so far! Is there any special prep any of you did besides the brake clean spray down?

I literally just hung mine up in the garage and sprayed away. All I did as far as prep goes was to tape off the sights and bolt carrier. But then again, it's a $500 AK so I wasn't really fretting about it looking sloppy or anything

Hopefully this works. This is one I done up with some khaki krylon. I didn't do any kind of prep work and it makes me wonder why the paints coming off

Close! Put (img) before your URL and (/img) at the end....except use brackets instead of parenthesis.

Even better, use the insert image function and it does all the work.

And thanks for the compliment. Been thinking of repainting it, but can't bring myself to do it.

Don't do it! It looks great as is right now. And gotcha with the images...didn't know there was another way to do it.

That's odd. The only Magpul lowers I have seen have the big Magpul logo on the left side of the receiver.

Ok so it's not one of *THE* Magpul lowers, but rather a newer one that S&W makes and stamps their name on the side?
