I have a DPX Hest II MilSpec that I got a while ago.  I like the knife but there are a few features that I was wishing were different...  I really hate the jimping (PDX calls it a wire stripper!);  the pry-hook is not a great implimentation (IMO); there are no sharp square edges on the knife for use with a ferro rod - all square edges have been rounded in the finishing process.

Did I mention that I happen to own one of the most dangerous instruments known to gunsmithing?...  that's right - the dreaded Dremel tool!!!  I obviously have too much time on my hands and was looking at the knife and then looking at the Dremel and then...  well, one thing led to another and THIS happened >>>

Now my Hest II has a sharp 90 degree corner on the spine where the "jimping" used to be and the pry-hook has fallen off to reveal a rounded pommel.  I thought that I would post this here to inspire others with Dremel tools and too much time on their hands...

Enjoy!

P.S.: I also have a DPX Heft 4 Woodsman with the same "jimping"...  If I continue having too much spare time, it might have a similar "accident"!
