Hello all: I have ordered a Rail system from DSA and still have not yet decided on an ARMS mount or DSA Heavy Duty Mount. My question is this, how sturdy is the rail system? Is anyone running a forward mounted Red Dot (EOTECH) on the rail system? Can it hold zero very well? Thanks for the help. |
I used a DSA heavy duty scope mount/dust cover for my Aimpoint M2 with an ARMS mount. Rock solid....but so is the rail system from DSA...both of which are on the Para Congo's I have. It's simply a matter of what you're more comfortable with, not as much as which mounting option is more solid...they're both very solid. That being said, if I HAD to pick which was a better mount for red dot optics on an FAL, the forward rail system from DSA would probably be my choice, but I never put my optics there since I prefer them closer to the ejection port for shooting. |
