I was all set to leave work today and drive to Heflin, AL for the night, and go to CMP in the morning to pick up an IHC Rack Grade. I talked to them yesterday and they had eight of them. Well, just to be safe, I called them about 1400 their time (CST) and damned if all the IHC Rack Grades didn't get sucked up today. What a bummer. I originally was supposed to be an CMP this morning, but had to run to Macon for a class today. She said they now had some Springfield Corrects and the usual assortment that I posted on my previous CMP thread. I am bummed.

I wanted to pick one up last Friday when I was there and got an H&R Rack Grade and Danish Springfield Field Grade but was a little short on $$$$ We got one of our bonuses yesterday and I was on my way...........................

I didn't realize the demand was so high for them. I guess I should have picked one last week and had them hold it until this week. Damn, damn, damn! |
