Anyone have experience with one of these?

I'm particularly interested in how it compares to the S&W 1911SC E-series

I'd take a Dan Wesson over an S&W any day.

While it is true that S&W is the only company that never had issues with their external extractor, I still prefer my guns to have industry standard components, especially on a wear item like an extractor.

I love my Guardian in 9mm. Accuracy and reliability have been outstanding for me.

A friend of mine has the Guardian. Awesome gun! I love it.

He liked it so much, he sold me his DW CBOB, so, it was win-win.
However, if I were buying today, it would be the Guardian, just to save a little weight.

One thing the DW has over most other alloy framed guns is a fully ramped barrel. This means the frame is not wearing out every time it feeds a round.
