Anyone have one? If I get tax stamp can I install a 40mm barrel and fire TP rounds?

I don't have one, but have used them in corrections. The 37mm launchers are mostly meant for canister type shells (up to 8 inches long), most of which are low pressure and black powder. The 37mm launchers are mostly ordered unrifled for direct impact munitions such as wooden batons and rubber ball or even chemical agents. If you have the single shell launcher you may be able to change the barrel to a 40mm barrel.

I wouldn't fire anything hot out of them. If I recall the barrels are thin metal with a plastic sheath. Not to mention that the latch on the single launchers is fragile.

Thanks.  I saw them listed for under $300 and thought it might be fun.

I have a DT1315 (37mm) with an approved form 1.  According to Grog, they are stronger than most launchers.  They can take a DT1325 (40mm) barrel, but they are not easy to find.  I was planning to try to get a barrel from my local DT dealer, but the dealer stopped sales to non LEOs just before I got my stamp.  Right now I have a ton of other projects, so this one's on the back burner.
