Ok, so I have a chance to buy a demilled HK G36c. I know these are rare, and I'm wondering if I'm getting a good bye. There was a G36c foreend, rail, and gas system that went for $2700 on Gunbroker. The demilled parts G36c I would be getting is EVERYTHING but the receiver.

Here is the parts list:

Factory barrel with complete gas system, and C flashhider.
Forearm with bottom rail and right side rail.
Optic rail with front a nd rear sights ( has rail section that an Aimpoint
with ARMS mount fit perfectly on)
Magazine well
Bolt and carrier assembly
Recoil spring assembly (can be uesd on SL8 as well)
C Stock
SEF lower

I can buy all of that of for about $2750. Should I do it? The guy sent me pics of everything.

EDIT: Here is the gunbroker link to the G36c parts that sold for $2700:

Seems kinda expensive if you ask me, but I'm no expert on what these parts usually bring.

If you want one, better buy it now. There will be NO More imported, especially barrels. For the whole unit, that's a screaming buy. I bet the guy could get 3300 or more for the whole thing. That auction you listed was for a barrel cut down by Larry, who is no longer doing the work, and I don't think anyone else is doing it either. AND THAT IS NOT EVEN a factory barrel. PM me with the contact info if your not going to buy it.

Depends on what you want it for.

If you need it for a build, then you need it.  That simple.

But if you are looking to try to resell it, then I'd pass.  That's a lot of money and clearly it isn't a not seller as is right now or it would not be available for you to take your time and think about it, post your question here, etc.  It would have been sold already.
