| I think I have decided on a GS5930H seems like just what I need at the price I want to spend Lifetime warranty and more bang for the buck my only concern is how in the hell I'm going to get it in the house once delivered at 697 pounds . How do you guys move them around? I was thinking 1 inch ridged pipe and walk it on that ? |

Over carpet, you can use golf balls or 3/4" steel ball bearings, or even dowel rods/pipe. Does the delivery company not offer further installation? Most will be happy to bring it to its final resting spot for a fee. I'm having a 300+lb American Security safe delivered this week, the company will bring it into my living room for no extra charge (a local locksmith company). If you haven't given American Security a serious look, I really recommend them. Really really sturdy safes and very good prices, made right here in the US. |
