I did some testing for some precision/varmit rounds. I check for pressure on these charge groups a week ago with no signs.
Range was 200 yards
TAC powder
Tulu steel cases
Hornady 55gr SP w/ cann.
CCI #400 primers
AR15 24'' fluted bull barrel(cryoed)

MOA 1.471    VH(vertical height) 2.137 in.

MOA 1.342  VH 2.03 in.

MOA  1.279  VH .53 in.

MOA  2.186  VH  2.896 in.

MOA 3.310  VH  6.711 in.

MOA 4.120  VH  .871 in.

MOA 2.275  VH  3.296 in.

Since 24gr was the best group, 25.5 gr had the next best VH. Would these be the two charges to look into for tuning up? Or do the same thing again to confirm these groups? Thanks

If that's with irons, seems alright, with a scope, not so much.
With your rig, you should be getting much better groups if scoped.
Could be the cases, or powder/primer combo.
I'd try using a better case first, then, maybe a mag primer next.
'Borg.
ETA looking closer at the groups, it might be you need more practice/trigger control time, or a better rest.

The aiming point on your target blows, there is no way to shoot an accurate group with that set up.

An orange aiming point is nearly useless with iron sights, the target is a fuzzy orange blob.  Black against white or black gives the best contrast.  The blue and green targets I use give contrast virtually as good, yet bullet holes are easy to see at 300 yards.

With a scope an orange or other amorphous target is terrible, it's nearly impossible to align the cross hairs in the same location for each shot.

I'll see if I can find the thread where I posted about 25 targets I designed.  ETA, I think it's in the archive.

I would agree you need a better aiming point (if shooting optics). I also suggest a min of 5 shots per group.

Thanks for the replys.
The AR was scoped.
I chose the steel case because my thinking was they were more consistent vs sorting brass headstamps. And if I'm hunting, don't mind losing them.
I chose the primers thinking they might be better that the Win SRP I've been using. They are both the same price.
I was duck hunting earlier and stopped at the range on the way back. I put the cardboard flat in my truck but forgot targets. I had a small can of orange spray paint and used that.
I was shooting on a table with a harris bi-pod, shooting  bag under the pistol grip(to get sight lined up to target), and was sitting ona swivel seat. I'll get a better setup for resting.
My plan was to shoot round robin style, but thought 200 yds would not be far enough to tell which rounds spread out or close in. And forgot to mark the bullets. So I chose to group shoot them.

I'll do another test once I get more powder(ran out) and firearms season is done.

Thanks again.

AeroE is there a certain scale we need to for these to print out on regular 8x11 paper

I designed all these targets in powerpoint, so they fit an 8.5X11 inch format exactly.  Copy from here, paste into Word or Powerpoint, then expand the image to fill the page.

Printed directly from powerpoint yields 1 inch squares on the bold lines.

I'll send a powerpoint file in email if you can use it.  Send an email.
