Just picked up another powder measure for my other toolhead and it's brand new so that's not it but when installed it spills powder, I have looked at it and can't seem to see where the problem I even installed the older one I have on it and not a grain spill but with this one it makes a mess so what's up with this and can I fix it ?
The problem occurs when the case is coming out of the powder drop it seems some extra powder just drops out, but does not do it with the other one installed ?

What type of powder?

Sometimes, I get a few kernels dropping out of my measure, but not a lot. Is it adjusted properly, relative to the powder die height?  Is your powder funnel polished inside, to preclude bridging of stick powders?

Before I start reloading, I polish the insides of my funnels and then wipe them down with IsoAlcohol to get any 'stiickiness' off.

The powder is IMR 4895 and if I switch to another powder measure it does not spill a drop, I even polished the hopper like I did my first one and it still drops some powder as the case clears the funnel

How is the down spout, which nestles in the powder funnel?  Is it nicked up?  All the measure is doing, is dropping powder down the fixed spout, into the powder funnel and into the case mouth.  How is the funnel/case mouth interface?

Are you sure you are using the correct funnel for the caliber you are reloading?   Also there is a mod to get rid of the failsafe rod and use spring tension to move the powder bar.  It allows it to move much smoother up and down with even tension on the case the whole time.  I've converted all of mine, worlds better IMO.

Yes correct everything all I am doing is loosening a PM and bolting on another to the same tool head and the powder spills alittle when the case clears the funnel I have heard the if the linkage that drives the powder bar is to tight that it may not be coming back all the way closed and if you back off on the nut like a 1/2 turn it may fix it

That's probably it. I was going to say that it sounds like the bar is binding up.
