Hi All,
I am interested in a large gun safe and am trying to narrow my choices down. I am interested in the Drake DS40-UU and the 44 Mag. I am hoping to get any general information, pro or con, from anyone that owns one. Thanks in advance! |

I have a Drake DS40-UU and I love it, as do about 5 of my friends that own Drake's. They are not the fanciest, or the cheapest, but they are a quality product. The only real con I have is that there is not an intumescent seal, but the door does close very tight, and the door gap is about the width of a penny. 1/4" steel on all sides is 2 1/2 times the steel of most gun safes. Customer service is top notch from Greg too. If you have any specific questions, just ask.
