I have 2 suppressors. SWR Warlock and a YHM Wraith 9mm. My Warlock was the 10th made, and my Wraith was the 13th made. I was IM'ed by someone the other day who had the very first Wraith made. Anyone else have some first off the line suppressors? |
How do you know your Warlock was 10the made? They come with two SN prefixes LE-0000 and FCPT-0000. LE - Limited Edition, FCPT Frank C. Powell T??, I presume. When I bought my SPECWAR2 and Wraith from Powell, he told me about the Warlock which was still a year out, I passed on #2, and got one about a 2 dozen later. I have seen Wraith #1 for sale, so it has been passed around I think. Most of my SWR stuff is SN below 50, as I was an "early adopter". |
I have YHM Cobra 3, SWR Trident 3 |
How would YHM know if your Wraith was 13th? EDIT: Oh, you mean a YHM/Wraith, I thought you meant a SWR/Wraith. |
I IM'ed you about my YHM Wraith........FWIW My YHM Wraith screw-on type is ser# 1001.. I bought it from YHM and have not sold it. I do not feel the possible first ser number adds to the value, mabey adds to "cool factor" just my 2 cents Thanks! Make me an offer and its yours less than 50 rounds down the tube LOL!!!! |
Its kind of cool to have SN 1 of anything. I have SN 1 of the LRM 169. Its not the first one made, but Lee let me have it. Its the modern version inside. |

My cans are all from Gemtech and they use the built year as part of the serial (S06-xxxxx). When I called the ATF for a status on my purchase, they implied this was a requirement - that the year was always the prefix of the serial number. So that doesn't seem to be the case... |
