Guys,
I own a DSA 21" barrel standard SA58 rifle, which I really enjoy shooting. But, I'm getting a fair amount of "dinging" around the inside top of the ejection port from ejected cases. I do have the DSA extreme duty scope mount on my upper, which I believe is aluminum alloy. Is this normal? I've set my gas setting as low as suggested in the manual to cut down on recoil. I have around 1000 rounds through the rifle. Any input is appreciated. Thanks Forge |

You put it on the receiver behind the ejection port, NOT on the inside edge of the ejection port. Frontier, That's my problem, I'm getting dings on the inside edge of the ejection port. Not so much on the outside. I'll try to post a picture later. Thanks Forge |
