I am wanting to do a SBR project, and I was wondering if my whole trust name as it reads below (this is how it reads on my trust) needs to be engraved.

JOHN B. DOE & JANE B. DOE REVOCABLE TRUST
JOHN B. DOE, JANE B. DOE TRUSTEES
UTD 1/1/19 FBO SAME.

Also, does anyone have a link to the ATF specs required for SBRs?

Thank you in advance.

I believe  if that "is" how the name is listed in the trust document that IS how it needs to be engraved.
It is usually "TRUST NAME" "CITY, STATE" per regs.
If in fact that is your trust name as identified in your trust document, that is what you need to engrave.

Thanks, it's no problem for me. I don't really care as much as some people do the length. Is the underside of the receiver (M85 pap pistol) acceptable?

Barrel, frame, or receiver.

I always give a trust a nice short engraveable name.

Exactly why I named my trust J. Doe Trust.

There's no need to name your trust long and its irrelevant what you name it. It can be named In God We Trust.

Yep. Mine is just "LastName Trust". Probably as short as you can get it. I wonder if it could just be "Trust"? Or does it even need to have "Trust" in the title? For example, if you wanted to just use mostly PSA lowers. You then name your trust "PSA" and voila they have already engraved your lowers. Just need to add the city, state.

This is the type of stuff I think about on a slow day. LOL

Or if you live in the same city and state as the manufactor... No engraving lol .... Now you have me thinking on how that would really work... Hmmmm

Did you have your trust drawn up by an attorney?
If so, have them amend the name to something shorter before you submit your Form 1.
If you have already submitted your Form 1, you can amend the trust for future purchases/builds.
