I am looking at doing some gunkote and I was wondering if I could get some pics posted of various color gunkote. And if the rattle can stuff from brownells works good or if I should go with the solution out of an airbrush. Tips, pointers, recommendations are muuuuuch appreciated. I have everything blasted with 120 aluminum oxide and I just need a push in the color direction. Thanks.

That's Brownell's Matte Black Gun Kote out of the rattle can.

VERY easy to apply, just be sure you degrease thoroughly.  Apply very thin coats - thinner than you'd apply if it was Krylon.  Make sure you have an oven big enough to bake the parts.

Here is my 2" .38 S&W in OD Green.

For some reason, the Tyler grip adapter did not provide a good texture.  The Gunkote is holding, but it doesn't look quite right.

I am a beginner, so hopefully I will improve as time goes by.
