| I once had a preparedness-orientated neighbor who was always lamenting that he didnt have any NV. We were in a group of neighbors that exchanged what were usually trivial gifts at Xmas and one Xmas as he and his wife were opening his gift from us I told him that I had finally filled the hole in his preps by getting him some night vision. You could see his hands quiver as he hoped against hope that I wasnt bs-ing him. What he found was a toy set of 'nv goggles' which were in actuality a couple of lensed tubes on the cheapest helment you can image with 2 led green flashlights attached to it. Got the biggest laugh of the evening, tho I still maintain that it worked better than Stupidvision. |
